I have been researching AI and teaching, writing, and presenting on it for more than eight years. It has become one of my most requested sessions and a topic about which I am asked to speak on podcasts, with schools, and with journalists.
As a classroom educator, I dove right into teaching about it without knowing a lot myself. Since then, I have invested my time in learning more and in sharing that learning with others. I have presented more than 350 sessions on AI over the past eight years. These sessions have been at local, state, national, and international conferences and via webinars for school districts and PLCs. I also provide keynotes on AI and lead workshops focused on AI and the Law for educators and for other businesses.
I would love to come to your school, whether in person or virtually, and help your teachers get started in their classrooms and learn all about AI, its impact on education and the world, and tools to explore with students and to boost teacher productivity!
I also provide a series of workshops for schools and districts, both in-person and virtually.
I provide keynotes focused on AI and my THRIVE Framework.
See testimonials below, and I can provide my resume, which includes prior speaking events and experiences.
What Attendees Have Said About My AI Sessions:
A 6-hour in-person PD training for a school district
“As with many school districts across the country, our teaching staff’s knowledge, experience, and comfort level when it comes to Artificial Intelligence (AI) were inconsistent; with many of our educators unaware of the resources available or hesitant to utilize them in their classrooms. After spending a day with Dr. Rachelle Dené Poth, our staff left invigorated and excited to apply the tools that she provided. She not only explained the various educational resources available to teachers in using AI tools, but also had them practice using these tools to support their instruction and other managerial tasks. Being a teacher herself allows her to speak to teachers from her own personal experience and connect with them regarding the similar challenges that they face. If you are looking for an engaging presenter, knowledgeable in the up-to-date application of AI in the classroom, don’t look further. Dr. Rachelle Dené Poth is a great choice to support all of your educators, regardless of their experience. Our students need to learn how to navigate AI as they continue to progress through their educational journey. It isn’t going away, and it continues to evolve. So, as administrators, we must equip our staff with the training, resources, and tools to meet our students where they are and where they are going!” Alan Demaret, Ed.D., Assistant Superintendent, Sweetwater County School District #2
Keynote, Panel, and Sessions
It is with tremendous enthusiasm that I write this letter of recommendation and testimonial on behalf of Dr. Rachelle Dené Poth. I know Dr. Poth as an educator, attorney, author, keynote speaker, and one of the most passionate voices in educational technology today. Over the course of four years, I have had the distinct privilege of partnering with Dr. Poth as a featured speaker at the annual Three Rivers Educational Technology Conference (TRETC) and one of the dynamic drivers in moving education forward in our region.
Keynote Excellence
In 2025, Dr. Poth delivered our opening keynote, “AI-Powered Classrooms: Bridging the Gap between Humans and Machines,” to a full auditorium of educators, administrators, and technology leaders. From the first moment she took the stage, it was clear that we were in the presence of a master communicator. She has a rare and remarkable ability to take highly complex topics such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and ethical implementation and translate them into accessible, inspiring, and immediately actionable insights. Her keynote was not merely informative; it was transformational. Attendees left energized, equipped, and genuinely excited about the possibilities that AI holds for their classrooms. Dr. Poth’s keynote set the stage for the rest of the conference.
What sets Dr. Poth apart as a keynote speaker is her authenticity. She speaks from lived experience as an active classroom teacher who integrates the very tools she advocates for. This gives her message depth and credibility that resonate with practitioner audiences. She does not speak “at” educators, she speaks “with” them, meeting them where they are and building bridges to where they can go.
Workshop Leadership and Educator Training
Beyond her keynote, Dr. Poth has led multiple workshops that consistently ranked among the highest-rated sessions at our conference over the years. In “AI and the Law: What Do Educators Need to Know,” she brought her unique dual expertise as both an educator and a practicing attorney to bear on one of the most pressing and underexplored issues in K–12 education today. Participants walked away with a clear understanding of the legal landscape surrounding AI use in schools, including privacy, data protection, equity, and compliance, presented in a rigorous yet accessible manner for non-legal audiences.
Her workshop, “Real World Ready: Building AI Literacy Across the Curriculum,” was equally powerful. Dr. Poth challenged educators to move beyond surface-level exposure to AI tools and think deeply about how to cultivate genuine AI literacy in students- the kind of critical, ethical, and creative fluency that will serve them throughout their lives. Her session was hands-on, relevant, and grounded in concrete classroom strategies that participants could implement immediately. The energy in the room was palpable, and the feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive.
Panel Moderation and Collaborative Engagement
Dr. Poth also participated in a Fireside Chat alongside co-presenter and fellow author, Janet Phan: “The Power of Connections, Mentorship, and Our Stories.” This session was a masterclass in vulnerability, vision, and the human side of professional learning. Dr. Poth’s ability to share her own journey with candor and grace, to lift up her co-presenter, and to engage the audience in meaningful dialogue speaks to her exceptional interpersonal skills. She listens as well as she speaks, a quality that makes her an outstanding panel participant and moderator.
Whether moderating a panel, leading a fireside discussion, or facilitating a large-group workshop, Dr. Poth demonstrates a consistent and commanding ability to read a room, pivot when needed, and ensure that every voice in the space feels heard. Her emotional intelligence and professional generosity make every collaborative session richer for her presence.
Commitment to Deep Learning and Student Success
At the core of everything Dr. Poth does is an unwavering commitment to student success. Her work is not driven by a fascination with technology for its own sake, but by a deeply felt, clearly articulated belief that the right integration of AI tools can unlock deeper learning, greater equity, and more meaningful student engagement. She helps educators see that AI, implemented thoughtfully and ethically, is not a replacement for the teacher’s role but an amplifier of it.
The educators who attend Dr. Poth’s sessions do not simply leave with new tools; they leave with a new mindset. They leave asking better questions, taking more intentional risks, and centering their students in every decision they make about technology. That is the hallmark of a truly exceptional professional educator and speaker.
I recommend Dr. Rachelle Dené Poth without qualification or hesitation for any keynote, panel, workshop, or professional learning engagement. She is among the finest educational technology speakers working in the field today. Conference organizers, district leaders, and professional learning coordinators will find in her not only a gifted communicator but also a dedicated partner in building the kind of educator capacity that truly changes student outcomes.
It has been one of the genuine highlights of organizing the Three Rivers Educational Technology Conference to have Dr. Poth as part of our community for the past four years. I look forward to many more years of collaboration and am confident that any organization fortunate enough to work with her will say the same.
Sincerely,
Marie Pelloni, Sr. Director of Talent and Workforce Innovation

“As we ran our AI webinar for K-12 teachers, Rachelle became instrumental in designing the sessions, webinar marketing, and recruitment of teachers. She enhanced the whole experience and obtained the contributions of a few companies that demonstrated their AI products and applications. Her enthusiasm, experience, and desire to educate came across and really increased the impact of our event. We value the knowledge and effort she provided, and it made our task easier to accomplish!” Dr. Andy Gillespie, Assistant Provost

“Fantastic! I went away with so many tabs open to remind me to practice using them! It is great knowing more about how to use AI to engage students, generate activities, and have great tools to start with! Rachelle is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to AI!”
“Dr. Poth brought with her an array of experiences to our staff regarding A.I. She made it clear that A.I. is here to stay, and it is well on its way to becoming as influential in our lives as the Apple 2e and mySpace were and as Facebook and Instagram are now. We were able to leave her P.D. session with the confidence of knowing that A.I. is only as good (or evil) as the person putting it to use and that if we learn how to master it now, how to use it appropriately for its intended purposes and leverage its capabilities to free up time so that we may work with our learners who need us, then we have nothing to fear. It will never replace an exceptional teacher, and our students will benefit from the extra attention and support that we can provide. Thank you for sharing your expertise with us!“
